INTRO:
There’s a million ways to say this, but I think I need to get straight to the point – I’m back! Yes I’ve been away for a while but after a lot of thought, introspection and support from friends and family, I decided to just go for it. Life has been full of exciting adventures. I have been one of the lucky few people who managed to extend their personality into their career. I love being back home in India, it gives me the space to breathe, do everything I love doing and most of all – be me. Here’s to plenty more!
1st STEPS:
I sang before I spoke; my whole school and college life was filled with performances and awards on stage be it for dancing, singing, acting or elocution. My first step was hosting those wildly famous and packed Karaoke Nights at Jazz By The Bay. I was never shy to be in front of a crowd so I loved it. I got a free meal, got to perform people and most importantly I got to sing….
TV:
MTV – (4 and a half years) VJ, co producer on some shows, script writer on a few shows, host for their award shows, live event, brand ambassador for Mtv Clothing and Accessories, Mtv Credit Cards and Mobile Phones. VJ for MTV internationally on 2 shows. Judge on Mtv for their show ‘Mtv Panasonic Face of Beauty’. TIMES NOW – Co host ‘Summer Slam’ 2011 ESPN – Host ‘Sheru Classic Asian Grand Prix’ 2011 YOUTUBE – IPL 3
RADIO:
Anish Trivedi’s ‘Banyan Tree Productions as script writer, programmer and radio jockey. Clients included – All India Radio, Air India In Flight Entertainment and many other internet radio sites.
ACTING:
MOVIES – Sonia in Karan Johars’ Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham Vikram Bhatt’s Aetbaar Guest Appearance for Rohan Sippy in Kuchh Naa Kaho THEATRE – ‘Nancy’ in Raell Padamsees’ rendition of ‘Oliver! The Musical.’ LIVE EVENTS – Host for live events, parties and corporate events. Clients include MTV, HP, Godrej, Sunburn Festival, Volkswagen, Players – music launch of the film etc. Bollywood dances with Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan etc on stage. Singing on stage for Taj Vivanta & Rolling Stone, South Asian Band Festival, The Blue Frog etc
