As one of the most popular DJ in the region, KASH TRIVEDI is set to knock down the horizons of House music culture around. He fired the far away suburban venues with his awesomely tasty progressive rave nites. Eclectic sounds, risin' beats, spikin emotions, groovin' bodies & progressin' moods….is what he brings to the party scene. Bringing with him a unique sound that would turn the heat on in every damn party. There is no musical boundary he does not cross as he fuses breaks, glitches with house in his own inimitable wicked sense. Armed with vinyl and a phat sound system KASH can turn any damn place to Ibiza. It was bound to happen. The urge to generate a certain kind of emotion made KASH, drift to the music production scene. From here on Kash delved himself into production of Electronic Dance music. Under his belt are some amazing melodic house tracks; many of which turned into a rage among the club circuit. A lot of respected DJ's and artistes across the broad geography play his mixes. His original track 'Fiction' and 'Absynth' instantly propelled him in the orbit of global music producers. This tracks are a rage in clubs around US, Israel and Russia. His remix of 'Walk me bye' is on high demand at many a radio stations around Europe. His energy and enthusiasm soon saw him peaking on the production front. He has to his credit many singles and white labels that are widely downloaded. There’s a million ways to say this, but I think I need to get straight to the point – I’m back! Yes I’ve been away for a while but after a lot of thought, introspection and support from friends and family, I decided to just go for it. Life has been full of exciting adventures. I have been one of the lucky few people who managed to extend their personality into their career. I love being back home in India, it gives me the space to breathe, do everything I love doing and most of all – be me. Here’s to plenty more!
1st STEPS:
I sang before I spoke; my whole school and college life was filled with performances and awards on stage be it for dancing, singing, acting or elocution. My first step was hosting those wildly famous and packed Karaoke Nights at Jazz By The Bay. I was never shy to be in front of a crowd so I loved it. I got a free meal, got to perform people and most importantly I got to sing….

ROHAN KAPOOR

“There is music in my soul and soul in my music,” says DJ Rohan Kapoor, one of the cities new and upcoming DJs. At an early age of just 14, Rohan realized that music was his passion and the first time he ever saw a DJ perform, he knew what he wanted to do with his career. 

Rohan spun his first record as a full time DJ in 2007 at the age of 24. Prior to this he played music as a hobby before taking a two year break to complete his masters’ degree form the University of Bristol in the UK. 

Rohan’s style of playing music is quite unique. While he specializes in playing House, Hip Hop and R&B, and Retro, Rohan is capable at spinning wicked tunes across all genres and is capable of keeping a party rocking with ease. He does this by reading crowds and adapts his performance to suit his audience rather than what he feels like listening to. His music tells a story and takes people through a journey as the night progresses. 

He has also worked with the first ever Indian Internet Radio Station where he hosted a Dance Show and A Hip Hop n RnB Show as well. The station is called myopusradio. 

Rohan was also heard by the masses through his radio show called “BPM” on a station named “SPINN” on World space Satellite Radio where he showcased the latest and the best possible dance tracks from across the globe for a period of 2 years.

Rohan has also played alongside and opened for some of the biggest names in the world of dance music….its been a privelage to have performed with the likes of Matt Darey, Daniel Kandi, Wippenberg and Marcus Schossow, Myon n Shane,Niklas Gustavasson.

Currently Rohan has a fixed fornightly night at Pebble. This is his own property called Addicted to House, where the young trendy people of Bangalore city gather to dance the night away. Rohan also has set up a studio and is currently workin on his solo debut single.

With the positive response he has had this early in his career, one can be sure that there is going to be lots more to see of this budding DJ/Producer. There are bound to be much bigger and better things to come in the future. In his own words Rohan has said “I was born to do this so no matter what, I know everything will fall in place sooner or later.”

MA FAIZA

Born in Africa, Ma Faiza is one of the busiest and most successful DJs from India. Pushing the psychedelic trance music scene for close to two decades now, she commands an enviable position within India’s otherwise male-dominated EDM circuit. Based out of Pune, this fierce personality is also a successful artist, producer and writer for various international and Indian publications. Her vast listening passion is reflected in many different genres of electronica, ranging from melodic psychedelic and progressive trance to dirty techno-electro-house and dreamy chilled sets. Free of conventionality, without boundaries or borders and refusing to be limited by style of tempo, she blurs the lines between cultures and genres, and is one of the few DJs who is able to jump musical platforms with grace.

Ma Faiza has compiled soundscapes for the Liquidrom in Berlin, an underwater listening experience; she’s also worked with Lightmotiv projections and VJs and programmed weekly slots for Ibiza Global Radio. In 2006, Ma Faiza released her debut album Liquid Dreams with Veet Sandeh, released on her record label Masti Music. Her singles have appeared on various compilations like Goa Beach Vol.6 andMar Y Tierra Vol.2 (2007); and Changing World – Avalon Rising (2009). Her explosive performances at EDM events like Smirnoff Experience, Sunburn, Global Groove and EarthSync Festivals have made her one of the most sought-after Indian DJs in the international circuit.

She's been pushing the electronic dance scene for close to two decades, but Ma Faiza is still one of India's most popular EDM artists. Keeping true to her roots, she continues to rock some of our biggest cities.

Ma Faiza is the composer of an album called Liquid Dreams in partnership with Veet Sandesh. Apart from that, she is also the producer of Masti Music, an exciting record label that supports new international talent previously unreleased in the Indian market, as well as the development of unknown artists and musicians from India, providing a vital and unique platform for emerging talent.

Today, Ma Faiza has been voted India's No.1 Favourite DJ, playing to some of the largest crowds in India and across the world.

SOLID SNAKE

Solid Snake is a new project of Omar Chelly and Anders Rosengren from Malmoe, Sweden.

No wonder if Omar's name sounds familiar to you as he was until recently one half of the legendary Swedish project Tegma, one of the leading acts on the Scandinavian progressive trance scene. 

Anders has been producing mainly chillout since the beginning of the millennium and was a co-owner of now defunct trance label Star Jelly Records.

In 2008, Omar and Anders decided to work on a common project that would bring back an old school sound of Scando progressive mixed with fresh ideas and modern production.
The result was the debut album of Solid Snake, 'Unleashed', released in late summer 2009, on one of the major labels of progressive trance, Tribal Vision Records. 

The album was quickly hailed as one of the best releases of the year and received support from the scene's leading dj's.
Since then the duo has been working on new material, releasing on respectable labels such as Iboga and Iono and many more releases are on the way. They have also started playing in parties and festivals all over the world.
